Man United preparing Onana's bid as Kim Min Jae's race with Bayern continues

The transfer situation has taken a new turn, but Manchester United is still interested in acquiring Kim Min-Jae from Napoli.

According to Il Mattino, which was cited by The Faithfulmufc, Bayern is stepping up their efforts to sign the South Korean international during the summer transfer season.

According to a report from Corriere dello Sport, Manchester City is now competing with Manchester United for the central defender (news image provided below).

According to a renowned Italian source, the player will visit Manchester before deciding whether to join Old Trafford or The Etihad.

According to CdS, Man Utd acted early—even before the season ended—and offered Kim a contract worth £7 million per year, or roughly £135,000 per week.

The Red Devils are reportedly ready to activate the £49.6 million (58 million euros) clause to sign the player next month, according to additional reports.

The 26-year-old center back was outstanding during Napoli's Scudetto-winning season and has the potential to help both Manchester clubs.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Guardiola's flamboyant style of play has helped Man City win the triple lately and draw in Kim.

Manchester United, on the other hand, have a rich history, "there's no arguing about it." The player will be offered "pounds, bonuses, and awards" for the remaining tasks.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Inter Milan is awaiting word on whether Manchester United would submit a formal offer to acquire goalkeeper Andre Onana.

In light of David de Gea's refusal to extend his contract, the Red Devils are preparing to sign a new goalkeeper.

On June 30, the Spaniard's present £375,000-per-week contract will expire, and he has no intention of taking a substantial salary cut to commit his future to the team.

Onana is allegedly one of United's top goalkeeper targets, and his departure could force them to spend heavily on a replacement.

Now, according to Di Marzio, United are keeping an eye on the Cameroonian, and Inter are curious to know whether the Red Devils have a real interest in their player.

Manchester United is investigating the terms of a potential summer deal for Inter Milan goalkeeper Andre Onana.

Fabrizio Romano said in his CaughtOffside column that Man Utd are currently in an odd scenario with their goalkeepers since David de Gea has yet to properly sign his new contract despite a verbal agreement being in place for some time. Romano made the claim when chatting on his YouTube channel.

The Red Devils may now decide to bring in a new goalkeeper to battle him for his spot or maybe replace him as the team's starting goalkeeper altogether because the Spanish shot-stopper doesn't appear to be at the top of his game.

“On Manchester United and goalkeepers, we have a strange situation with David de Gea,” Romano said.

“Even though an agreement has almost been in place since March, they are still not signing the contract, and so De Gea is potentially about to become a free agent.

“The problem is more on the club side – De Gea is ready to sign but is waiting for the green light from United. They have the option to keep De Gea, but they also plan to sign a goalkeeper, possibly to provide competition, or possibly to replace De Gea as number one."

“With Andre Onana, there is no concrete negotiation at the moment, but it’s also true that Manchester United have explored the conditions of the deal on the player side. He and Erik ten Hag have a good relationship, and so United are informed on the deal. Inter’s starting valuation would be around €60m."

“Another goalkeeper on United’s list is Diogo Costa, but he has a €75m release clause at Porto, so these are very expensive options and so we’ll have to see what United decide to do.

“At the moment there is still no bid, but they are informed on Onana, and Inter are keeping an eye on potential replacements in case Onana will go. So this looks like one to watch this summer.”
