Tottenham, United recieves transfer boost as Adrien Rabiot recieves solid proposal from Old Trafford

Manchester United's transfer target and Valencia's shotstopper, Giorgi Mamardashvili, have been put up for sale by the La Liga outfit. However, the Red Devils will allegedly rival Tottenham Hotspur for the 22-year-old's signature if they decide to make any advance for him.

As per Spanish outlet Marca, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur have received a major boost in the chase for the Georgian youngster as Valencia is ready to sanction his sale this summer.

Tottenham Hotspur have been working on finding a replacement for number one choice Hugo Lloris, who confirmed he will not be at the club next season.

News from last month suggested that the North London club has reached an agreement with Brentford's David Raya, who is set to depart Thomas Frank's side, but chairman Daniel Levy is not ready to meet the Bees asking price of £40 million for the 27-year-old Spaniard as he feels it is too expensive. Despite David Raya being in the final 12 months of his contract with Brentford, Tottenham Hotspur could be forced to shift their attention to alternative choices if they can't reach an agreement for the shotstopper.

According to FootballTalk, Giorgi Mamardashvili has attracted interest from North London, and they could decide to make a solid approach to snapping him up from Les Ches.

Footballtalk added that Valencia are currently experiencing financial constraints and would need to balance their books ahead of the 2023–2024 campaign, which could force them to sanction Giorgi Mamardashvili's sale for as little as £21 million, which will encourage Tottenham Hotspur to make their interest in the Georgian official.

But Marca has indicated that with Manchester United also searching for a first-choice goalkeeper, it's set to be a competitive race with Spurs for the youngster's signature. Although David De Gea is set to remain at Old Trafford, according to reports, Erik Ten Hag will only utilize him as a backup to create a healthy competition for a starting berth next season. Alongside Giorgi Mamardashvili, Man United are linked with several other shotstoppers across Europe.

Giorgi Mamardashvili will be a shrewd and decent signing for either the Spurs or the Red Devils. He is 6 feet tall, an excellent shot-stopper, brilliant in the air, and can also play the sweeper-keeper role. He is an extremely talented goalkeeper and possesses high potential, as per FootballTalk.

Talking about revamping and blostering the squad ahead of a new campaign, reports continue to indicate that Manchester United are in pole position to secure Juventus Adrien Rabiot on a free transfer deal during the summer transfer window.

Footballfancast claims that Manchester United came close to signing the French international as he was a major target for Erik Ten Hag, but the deal collapsed and the 28-year-old remained at Turin.

With an excellent 17 goals in 48 appearances for Juventus in the 2022–2023 campaign. The Red Devils seem to have rekindled their interest in the 2018 World Cup winner.

Sportwitness, while quoting Spanish outlet AS, has indicated that Manchester United will have to rival Atletico Madrid for the player's signature, but added that Manchester United have received a major boost as favorites to land the midfielder.

Recent reports, according to Football Fancast, indicate that a solid proposal has already been tabled for the player, who is set to become a free agent in a matter of weeks. Transfermarkt values Adrien Rabiot, 28, at £30 million, and he will bring his versatility and experience to the Red Devils squad for Erik Ten Hag. It is being tipped to become one of the smartest transfer deals of the current transfer window.

Juventus legend Andrea Pirlo branded him a 'complete player' while singing his praises. "He is a complete player; I have rarely seen someone so strong both physically and technically."

"He doesn’t even know the potential for improvement he can have, and we work on the mental side of things to make him understand that he is a champion. He is improving game after game."

Manchester United are bound to lose a midfielder during the summer transfer window, with Scott McTominay's future appearing to be away from Old Trafford and Fred also caught up in the middle of transfer speculations to Fulham.

Adrien Rabiot will surely be a good addition to the Red Devils squad, and partnering him with Casemiro and Bruno Fernandes will give the Red Devils a potential new look and a smart midfield set-up. Who scored named him the best-performing Juventus player for his last campaign's ethics.
