Manchester United's target set to join on the 1st of June as Ten Hag eyes £30m De Gea's replacement

It's probable move to Manchester United is not a source of concern in the Naples media, despite recent allegations from France that Manchester United will face competition from other clubs to sign Kim Min Jae.

The Serie A champions will need to make departures in order to make acquisitions in the summer, according to Il Mattino on Tuesday. There is 'one sure' departure, and this is the time the defender is mentioned.

The 26-year-old is reportedly'sure' to sign for Manchester United, who will fulfill his €60 million release clause, which is effective between July 1 and July 15.

To be clear, they state via Sportwitness: "From July 1st he will be at Manchester United who will pay the 60 million clause."

According to the report, the center-back has 'accepted' a £9 million (€10.4 million) annual offer from the Red Devils. The Naples club must find a replacement for the South Korean international in the summer transfer window.

Area Napoli has shared Antonello Gallo's Facebook post in which he claims Erik ten Hag's team intends to lower Min-jae's price by incorporating some of their own players in the deal.

“If Kim is close to United, there are rumors that the Red Devils could insert some counterpart to Napoli. There is talk of Jadon Sancho, followed by the PSG but that could just enter into a more direct relationship of the club of Aurelio De Laurentiis with Manchester United,” he said.

“As always, every rebound rumour and that has a minimum of foundation, I am ready to report it.”

Elsewhere, Jordan Pickford is reportedly a target for Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag as the Red Devils explore their goaltending alternatives this summer.

With Ten Hag in charge, the Red Devils had a promising debut season, finishing in the top three and winning the Carabao Cup.

The return of Champions League play at Old Trafford for the upcoming season may make the Dutch manager eager to add some fresh players to his squad.

With a berth in Pot 2, United will return to the premier European competition and will face either Sevilla, Barcelona, Napoli, Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain, Benfica, or Feyenoord from Pot 1.

The future of De Gea, who is entering the last few weeks of his contract at Old Trafford, will also be a major topic of discussion heading into the summer.

There have been rumors that a potential new agreement between the two parties to extend his stay at the Theatre of Dreams was nearly reached.

Pickford is reportedly one of the candidates on the Red Devils' radar, although rumors about a potential goalie signing for the team still abound.

Additionally, Alex Crook, a transfer insider, revealed on TalkSPORT that Ten Hag is a great fan of England No. 1 as the summer transfer window is about to open.

"Pickford, I think, is the type of goalkeeper that fits the profile for Erik ten Hag. He wants someone who can play the ball out from the back. Obviously, Pickford like De Gea is a very good shot-stopper."

"I think Pickford would be a good addition. I think Ten Hag likes Pickford. He likes the profile."

With De Gea's poor campaign-long efforts, United has been faced with an intriguing conundrum this summer.

Irony will undoubtedly be present in the criticism of the Spaniard given that he won the Golden Glove after recording 17 shutouts.

However, some of the mistakes he committed throughout the season must be taken into account because they ended up costing United on numerous occasions.

To put everything in perspective, Gary Lineker even called the seasoned goalie "David de Howler," criticizing the Spaniard.

The errors cannot be disregarded, but the idea that United may pursue Pickford even if they keep De Gea raises serious doubts about whether either goalkeeper would be content to back up the other.

The "absolutely sensational" Pickford, according to TalkSPORT, could be moved this summer for somewhere around £30 million as the Toffees look to raise some much-needed funds.

But if his place in the starting lineup for England was in jeopardy, would he transfer to Old Trafford without any assurance that he would be Ten Hag's starter?

Meanwhile, Fabrizio Romano tweeted that Manchester United and David De Gea's camp have a verbal agreement in place for a potential contract extension but the 32 year old is being tempted by offers from Middle East club where he could join the likes of Kareem Benzema and Ngolo Kante in the Saudi Pro-League.
