Lawyer confirms United could make double defensive swoop as English giants enters race for Tyler Adams

Italy is unconcerned about the Kim Min-jae transaction, despite late rumours in France on Wednesday suggesting that Manchester United was trying to acquire Axel Disasi from AS Monaco.

Many have said in Italy that the South Korean international's transfer to Old Trafford is practically finalized and that all that remains is for the Red Devils to exercise the release clause in his contract when it becomes effective between July 1 and July 15.

Enrico Fedele, a former lawyer and sports director, spoke to Radio Marte during Marte Sport Live and went out of his way to soothe everyone who was concerned that Kim might no longer sign with Manchester United.

"Does Axel Disasi’s imminent move to Manchester United blow up Kim Min-jae’s move to the Red Devils? The South Korean has already left, he’s done everything with the English, don’t worry. At worst, they’ll buy two defenders," he said.

While some may think this is a ploy for a new contract, there would be no need to go to this length in stories for that to happen, as the center-back's performances this season have been more than enough for him to simply ask Napoli for one and state he is willing to increase or get rid of this release clause.

The fact that English media outlets are making an effort to minimize this transaction is not unusual given that they did the same thing for about a year during Manchester United's pursuit of Bruno Fernandes while the midfielder was playing for Sporting CP.

Newcastle United has reportedly identified five recently demoted players as potential additions this summer, according to the Telegraph. The team, who earned a spot in the Champions League for the first time in twenty years, will search for bargains during the summer transfer window and may try to benefit from Leeds United, Southampton, and Leicester City's relegation by signing them.

The only Leeds player on this list is Tyler Adams, while the Magpies also like Southampton's Romeo Lavia and James Ward-Prowse. However, the Saints are apparently unwilling to let their captain depart during the summer transfer season and have set a £50 million price tag on Ward-Prowse.

This summer, St. James' Park has also been linked to moves for James Maddison and Harvey Barnes. However, rumours indicate that while Newcastle are still the favorites to capture the former, West Ham have emerged as a prospective home for Barnes. Following the discovery that Declan Rice has played his final game for the club, the Hammers will probably be busy during the summer transfer window.

This summer, Scott McTominay from Manchester United is allegedly a target for Everton. In order to prepare for their return to the Champions League, Newcastle has been linked with signing McTominay, who has fallen down the pecking order at Old Trafford.
