'Who knows'- Mid fielder's brother reveals one secret about relationship with Erik Ten Hag's

Erik ten Hag is 'charmed' by the Moroccan star, thus Manchester United may be interested in Sofyan Amrabat of Fiorentina.

According to his brother Nordin, Ten Hag would be interested in seeing the player he formerly coached at FC Utrecht.

Since the World Cup, when Amrabat was one of the main players in Morocco's run to the semifinals of the tournament, he has been extensively linked with a move away from Fiorentina.

He reportedly attracted interest from the Premier League in the January transfer window, but he chose to remain with La Viola.

However, the intrigue is still present, and he is still mentioned in connection with a potential transfer to England after once more shining for Fiorentina in the Europa Conference League.

One of those having a history of interest is Manchester United, particularly during their January midfielder search following Christian Eriksen's injury.

They eventually acquired Marcel Sabitzer on loan from Bayern Munich, but he won't be there long. Given that Scott McTominay and Fred have both been connected with exits, they may find themselves back in the market for players in that region.

Amrabat would undoubtedly be interested in that since, according to his brother, he would choose a top four team like Manchester United over anything else on the market in England.

“He is doing well at Fiorentina. You are not going to trade Italy for the middle bracket of the Premier League,” he said.

“My brother is 26 years old; he wants to go to the top. Of course, you never know, it (Saudi Arabia) will be a strong competition when you see which names are going. But my brother now has the intention to play in the top, preferably in Spain or England, I think.

“I think in January (United showed interest). But Ten Hag is now looking for a striker, he wants that first. From there he will see what is possible.

“But I know that Ten Hag is charmed by my brother, he broke through under him. And they have a good relationship, so who knows.”

Speaking ahead of the Europa Conference League final, Sofyan Amrabat as well revealed he would cherish a move to the Premier League. (via Daily Mail): “Of course, the Premier League is a fantastic league, one of the strongest in the world.

“it would be nice to play there one day, but it’s not that I want only to go to England, because Spain is nice, Serie A is a nice league.

“Football has changed a lot, it’s more physical, you have more to be an athlete, the tempo and intensity is higher.

“Of course, in England the intensity is very high, so I think it would suit me.”
