Lautaro Martinez, a forward for Inter Milan, is once again a target for Manchester United.
There were rumors about the Reds' desire to sign the Argentine World Cup champion a month ago. As Inter fought their way to the Champions League final, the commotion subsided.
United, however, might once again be interested in Martinez, according 90min. According to their report, the 25-year-old intends to depart Italy following Saturday's game against Manchester City.
It further mentions that Martinez's representatives have met with some of the biggest teams in Europe in an effort to work out a contract. They include United and Chelsea, both of whom have reportedly studied the striker's development for years.
Similar to the Premier League duo, Real Madrid is said to be a longtime admirer and to be interested as well. The forward has had a fantastic season, scoring 28 goals so far.
Kim Min-jae, who has been widely connected with the Reds, is prepared to turn down a transfer to Newcastle in order to join Manchester United. Kim has his sights set on a transfer to a more prestigious club, but Eddie Howe is keeping a close eye on the South Korean, according to writer Graeme Bailey on The Fully Loaded Transfer Show.
Bailey gave an update on Kim and remarked "Newcastle are being kept informed about the situation, there’s no denying that, they are. You don’t win the raffle if you don’t buy a ticket, but, and I’m not saying Newcastle aren’t a big club, but Kim will be targeting someone like United if he’s going to leave Napoli."
"Napoli will be fighting to not lose another of their star players, but with this release clause they have to pay it in full. If you did get him he’d be an absolute superstar, he’s a worldie of a player, he really is."
Kim made 45 appearances for the Naples club this season, but according to reports in Italy, the 26-year-old is essentially a United player after apparently waving his colleagues farewell.
